Sri Rajani Raja Temple
Situated majestically at the eastern boundary of Jwahar Nagar, near Perambur in Chennai, is the Sri Rajani Raja Temple. Established in 1988, the temple houses several revered deities, including the elder god Sri Amrita Ganapathi, along with Sri Devi, Bhoodevi, and Prasanna Balaji, Sri Abhirami with Amrita Kadeswara, Sri Kanaka Durga, Sri Valli Devasena with Sri Kartikeya, Sri Anjaneya, Sri Ayyappa, Sri Vidya Dakshinamurthi, Sri Surya Narayana, and the Navagraha deities, who bless the devotees with their divine grace. This temple, where both Lord Hari (Vishnu) and Lord Shiva bless the devotees together, has some unique features. Upon crossing the grand, south-facing Rajagopuram, the first sight that catches the eye are the captivating sanctums.

He served as the Chief Priest at Rajani Raja Temple from 1994 to 2007. He has conducted the Kumbhabhishekam for hundreds of temples across Chennai and suburban areas. He studied Agama Shastras at the Palani Agama School, obtained proficiency, and continues to be recognized as an Agama Chakravarthy (authority in Agama traditions). He has introduced several new rituals in our temple, including the Sri Ayyappa Pada Pooja, the worship of Lord Vinayaka with 1008 Modhakas on Sankatahara Maha Chaturthi, Sukla Chaturthi Pooja, Nataraja Abhishekam, Full Moon Ambal Abhishekam, and many others. He has worked selflessly and has taken the lead in organizing several Kumbhabhishekam festivals. Through his affectionate words and kind actions, the number of devotees at our temple has increased. Today, he continues to assist in many rituals at our temple. He led the Kumbhabhishekam ceremonies in our temple in 2002 and 2015.
